Whether you're just visiting the area, live here, or looking to live here, Middlesex County has a lot to offer in terms of places to visit! When choosing an area to live schools, crime and population are all things that we think about instantly. However, attractions in the area, unique date night ideas, and family fun places are always great to have close to home! Personally, I have three toddlers and when I look for a new home I always check the potential areas for sports complexes, playgrounds, hiking/walking trails, and places to bring them on a rainy day. In addition, I look for unique places my husband and I can visit without our kids, and things we can do as a family.

My Top 4 Date Nights In Middlesex County!

Gibbet Hill Grill is my favorite place to just go to dinner with my husband. It is an old renovated barn with the feel of a homey cottage inside. If you're looking for a great place to have an amazing steak or lamb this is the place for you for sure! They also have private event space to utilize for birthday parties, rehearsal dinners, or any other special event!

Escapology is an escape room that has a great area with leather couches and chairs, board games, and the best part they have a bar! Something fun to do with your significant other after dinner to complete a date or with a group of friends!

Perfect place for a date or day with friends who love a good competition! Take a race around the indoor racing track on high-speed go-karts, play pool, and have some food and drinks.

The Bancroft is a trendy modern Steakhouse that offers an amazing menu with many options for steaks and seafood. The interior of this restaurant is beautiful and the atmosphere is relaxing and intimate. Also, a great place to host an event or private dinner.

Top 4 Places to take the kids!

This is one of my all-time favorite places to take my kids! They have two floors of activities inside with a campsite, a play store, an arts and crafts area, and many more! The fun doesn't stop there the Discovery Museum also has an outdoor area with a slide, climbing net, and a Tree House complete with toys and crafts inside. If you're an active-duty military family like us the admission to the museum is FREE.

Davis Farmland is a great place to go for all types of activities, they include Petting Zoo, Apple Picking, Corn Maze, Pony Rides, (NEW) BBQ restaurant, Playgrounds, Water Spray Area and so much more! Check the page for Discounts!

Wamesit Lanes is a Family place to visit as they have bowling, an arcade, a great bar and outdoor patio, and indoor golf lanes. Something to fill a rainy day for families with kids and without!

Castle in the Trees is one of my all-time favorite playgrounds! They have a newly built wooden castle structure, swings & tire swing, a toddler playground, a basketball court, a grass area for picnics, and an adorable Little Free Library. Great place to spend the day with kids and let them get some fresh air for a nice long nap after!

That's all for this week guys I hope that this blog gave you some new places to go try in Middlesex County, MA! I have so many more places for each category and always happy to help if you have any questions about the area send me a message anytime!
